Discussion

A UAG must be paired with a specific Horizon server or a load balancer, depending on site specific architectures. This pairing is required for basic UAG to Horizon operation and ensures that authentication requests go to the proper servers. Satisfies: SRG-NET-000138-ALG-000089, SRG-NET-000364-ALG-000122

Check Content

Log in to the UAG administrative interface as an administrator.

Select "Configure Manually".

Navigate to General Settings >> Edge Service Settings. Toggle the slider to show the settings.

Click the gear icon next to "Horizon Settings".

If necessary, toggle the slider next to "Enable Horizon" to show the settings.

If the "Connection Server URL" is not configured with the correct Horizon Connection Server (or load balancer, depending on architecture) information, this is a finding.

If the UAG is not intended to provide Horizon services, but is used for other services in the environment, this control is not applicable.
